Panasonic Automotive Systems enhances Chrysler's Uconnect in-vehicle system

Panasonic Automotive Systems Company of America is supplying the program control unit that integrates attributes and functions of Chrysler's Uconnect™ program, according to Allen Kudla, Panasonic's senior vice president for sales and advertising and marketing  The Uconnect Program is Chrysler's user-friendly strategy to today's connected, in-car technology.  From music  to travel destinations and automobile settings, the Uconnect method intuitively delivers the details that drivers and passengers need immediately and enables drivers to remain focused on the road.


Panasonic, in collaboration with Garmin and Chrysler, delivers two distinct Uconnect offerings — the Uconnect Touch 8.four (a non-navigation version with an 8.4-inch screen) and the Uconnect Touch 8.4N, an 8.4-inch screen that functions a Garmin navigation technique.  This technique was made as the outcome of a two-year partnership in between Panasonic and Garmin to totally integrate Garmin's capabilities.
