Jakarta-after last year's National campaign shocked Indonesia (SNI) used the rider's helmet and marketed in Indonesia, now the Government will again expand the scope of SNI. This time around the turn of the wheel rims will be labeled SNI.
In the document of the Ministry of industry obtained detikOto, Monday (20/2/2012) Note Kemenperin central processing plan applying the SNI in motorcycle rims are circulating in Indonesia.
The standard implementation of this motorcycle wheel rims in the SNI is a step on from the standard implementation of the same on the helmet and motorcycle tires. As known, the two things are related closely to the motor it is indeed already implementing national standards of Indonesia.
For wheel rims, code number SNI had in fact obtained since the year 2008 administrations with code number 4658: 2008.
Have not been clearly set out the reasons the Government implement it whether for industrial menstandarkan Indonesia or motorcycle safety is concerned. Since it is known that in the market many outstanding rims-wheel rims which are disproportionate to the size of motor that circulates in the market.
There are some aftermarket rims are outstanding indeed belongs to the insecure like wheel rims with a width that is too small or is often called a worm wheel rims.
