Less than 24 hours after bringing you the first pictures of the DS4R that were leaked onto the web on Thursday, Citroën released official images of the concept model that will be make its world premiere at the 82nd Geneva Motor Show in early March.

As reported, the DS4 Racing Concept is powered by a tuned version of the 1.6-liter turbocharged engine found in many of the PSA Peugeot-Citreon group models and which was developed in conjunction with the BMW Group.

In the DS4 R concept, it puts out a whopping 256 HP – that's 160 HP per liter, which Citroen says is a record for a mass-production car. At the same time, despite its high output, CO2 emissions are just 155 g/km.

Like the DS3 R that kicked off the French firm's “Racing” performance line, the DS4R study makes its presence felt with a ground effects kit that includes tweaked bumpers with large air intakes on the front, carbon fiber trim on the grille, a diffuser at the rear, wheel-arch extensions and side sills.

Furthermore, the ride height has been lowered by 35 mm compared to the regular model and the tracks have been widened by 55 mm at the front and 75 mm at the rear giving the car a squatter, more aggressive stance.

Citroën is not saying, but sources state that a production version modeled after the study will follow next year providing the French carmaker with a direct competitor against the VW Golf R and the Ford Focus ST.

First Official Photos of MINI Clubvan Concept Hit the Net

Just yesterday, we reported about Mini's plans to reveal a concept model for a light commercial application based on the Clubman, and today, the first official photos of the new Clubvan hit the interwebs ahead of its world premiere at the 82nd Geneva International Auto Salon in March.

There's nothing really innovative or interesting, for that matter, about the Clubvan as the conversion from passenger model to van is pretty straightforward with Mini simply eliminating the rear seat bench and boot floor to create a continuous loading area.

Mini's designer also added a partition to separate and safeguard the front passengers from the cargo area and covered up the rear side windows. Other than that, there are no differences between Mini's breadvan study and the regular Clubman.

It remains to be seen if the British company will introduce a production version of the Clubvan.
